Fastroi began in 2003 and are market leader in Finland for their home and residential care management software. Risto began Fastroi after caring for his mother. He saw how digital transformation could impact the way social care is managed.
Fastroi are one of the fastest growing Finnish companies and have been expanding in the Finnish market. Fastroi are now preparing for international expansion and have several international partners to add to their many Finnish customers. At the end of 2016, Fastroi’s solutions were being used in over 1000 sites throughout Finland with over 35,000 users.
Risto will be discussing how digital transformation has improved outcomes in Finland and can bring significant operational efficiency and cost savings to the UK home and residential care industry in the UK.
Jim has worked as a UK healthcare supplier of mobile and wireless technologies. He has experience supporting digital transformation in Health & Social Care with many year’s experience in Health & Social Care. He is the Director of a number of companies offering solutions in this sector, but lately has been helping Fastroi move into the UK.
He became CEO of the MX Alliance – a trade association for the mobile and wireless ecosystem in Scotland. Funded by Scottish Enterprise and through member subscriptions, he provided business development and sales and marketing consultancy to an infant mobile marketplace. He ran trade show events, seminars and produced bi-monthly magazines.
Since then, he started a couple of companies, offering communications and digital transformation within health & social care. He now heads Fastroi’s UK operation.
Jim will apply his experience of the Fastroi solution, to the UK sector.
