Appointed one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 for Media 2017, Marianne has over 10 years of experience in Branding and a lifetime of experience with disability and exclusion.
Above and beyond her role as Account Director at brand experience agency, Rufus Leonard, Marianne set up Think Designable; a collective of creative talent whose background is in branding and communication.
Their aim is to harness the power of mainstream brands by educating agencies and Clients, with the aim of bettering society’s relationship with ‘difference’.
Think Designable wants ideas about inclusivity to reach the wider public, to be harder to ignore, and to inspire those capable to take action. The collective works with the best and brightest brains in inclusivity to highlight opportunities for brand experiences that truly make a difference, to those considered different.

Gone are the days when ‘disability’ was a conversation reserved for charities and hospitals. Mainstream brands and agencies are slowly waking up to the incentives for catering to disabled consumers, but there is still a lot of resistance. Marianne will explore some of these blockers, and how to overcome them. As well as discussing the opportunities for brands courageous enough to explore this untapped demographic.
